The Catatonic Couch represents my journey into madness as I fell deeply and madly in love with creating art this past year. As a former actress, singer, and dancer- I didn’t know I would find my love of creating again or what my life could look like. Now, I struggle to keep my hopes and dreams from pouring out of me at every second and have found bravery and courage to embrace my truest, HAPPIEST self while bringing a little sunshine into the world and healing my inner child! Hi! I’m Abbie and I’m so glad you’re here!!! I recently quit my HR job in Lincoln, NE, packed up my lil family, and moved to Minneapolis to dedicate my life to creating art and prioritizing joy! As a late diagnosed AuDHDer, I realized just how much of my life I spent struggling and being unkind to myself- while giving my precious energy to others as a way to “apologize” for my existence. No longer is that the case as I’m taking my destiny into my OWN paws! Your support means everything to me and I’m so grateful to share this big big journey with you all! <3
